Recently, Norwegian Power Systems (NES) announced that it has received a contract to supply power packs for a new E-class self-elevating wind power installation vessel at Gulf Marine Services (GMS). 
The new E-class is the fifth ship that the NES provides for GMS. The power pack will include a complete power system, automation system, fire safety and gas system. In addition, NES will deliver a highly redundant ring network solution that will allow the ship to use smaller generator sets, motors and thrusters without compromising performance.
