After 26 months of construction and series of technological transformations, at 17:26 on June 28th, Asia’s largest 7.63m large coke oven was fed once at the Yankuang Group to produce 46.8 tons of primary metallurgical coke. This signifies that China has successfully digested and absorbed advanced coking technology from the world and advanced Chinese coking technology for 20 years.
The 7.63m large coke oven introduced by Yankuang International Coking Co., Ltd. is currently the first large-scale coke oven introduced in China. The coke oven technology represents the world's most advanced coking technology. The two coke ovens annually produce 2 million tons of coke, which is equivalent to the output of 4 50-hole coke ovens currently used in China.
The coke oven adopts the most advanced coke oven machinery technology in the world, which realizes mechanization and automation. It has features such as high production efficiency, small footprint, and perfect dust and dust treatment system. The coke oven is also equipped with a wet quench and coke dry quenching system. A new type of quenching coke car with a stable quenching coke process is adopted for the wet quenching coke. With this kind of stable quenching process, the amount of dust emitted per ton of coke is reduced to 10 grams, which is much lower than the emission of 130 grams per ton of coke in conventional domestic wet quenching equipment. The gas purification and recovery adopts advanced high-efficiency cooling, washing, desulfurization and recovery equipment and processes, so that the conversion rate of hydrogen sulfide reaches 96%, and the purity of sulfur products reaches 99.5%. The construction time of the project has set the shortest record for the construction of similar devices in the world. The coke oven and its technology were imported from Germany.
