Korean research team develops Goosebump sensor

A research team has developed a sensor that can measure the feeling of goose bumps on the human body. The device is made of transparent conductive high molecular weight material that is pasted on. Engineers say it can be used to study people's emotional changes.

The thin and flexible sensor, which is 2 cm (0.8 inches) long on both sides, is tested around the subject of emotions, and the arm is asked to hold ice cubes for induction. Although, by its nature, this involves the response of physical stimuli, the researchers pointed out that music, movies, and other changes in the emotional state caused by the cause can bring about a goose bump.
