Loss of FANUCOM system parameter processing

The numerical control system parameter is the soul of the numerical control machine tool, the normal function of the hardware and software function of the numerical control machine tool is set through the parameter. The manufacturing accuracy of the machine tool and the recovery of the repaired precision also need to be adjusted by parameters, so no parameter of the CNC machine tool is equal to a pile of scrap iron. CNC machine because of the loss of all parameters of the CNC system caused by the machine tool, known as the "crash." "Death" is terrible. If we have mastered the solution and preventive measures, the problem will be easy. The following is the analysis and handling of the "crash" situation of the FANUC OM system. For reference only for CNC personnel.

First, the main reason causing "death".

1. In DNC communication, the M30 auto power-off function cannot be performed when the M50 has not been released from the M51 after the execution of the M51 operation, otherwise, the phenomenon of “crash” will occur.
2. If M51 action is performed and power is cut off during DNC communication, "deadlock" may occur.
3. When the battery is replaced, if there is no power on or off, the parameters will be lost. If you do not turn on the battery for a long time and the battery runs out, you will lose the parameters.
4. If you press and hold both the Reset and Delete keys at the same time and press Power ON, all the parameters will be eliminated.
5. Dealing with P/S alarms sometimes causes parameters to be lost. For example, there are three methods for handling P/Sl01 alarm (DNC) interrupts. In the first two cases when the alarm cannot be eliminated, the third method must be used, and the last one will be "dead".

417# alarm: This warning is caused by one of the following conditions on the X axis.

1 In the motor type of parameter No. 8120, set a value outside the specified range.
2 The correct value (111 or -111) is not set in the motor rotation direction of parameter No.8122
3 In the parameter NO.8123, the number of speed feedback pulses per revolution of the motor is set to an incorrect value of 0.
4 In the parameter N0.8124, the number of feedback pulses per position of the motor is set, and an incorrect value below 0 is set.

The reason is that all axis setting parameters are lost and each axis servo alarm occurs. At this time, the machine tool is defective and its function is lost.

Third, the "death" of the specific processing:

If the machine crashes, first contact the machine manufacturer. It is best to troubleshoot and resume operation under the guidance of the factory. The following are the problems I actually encountered and the methods to obtain vendor support:

1, CLEAR remaining parameters

Press the RESET, DELETE keys simultaneously, and press POWER ON until the version number appears on the CRT display and release it after the change.

2. INPUT parameters

Select MDI mode, open the parameter (PARAM) screen, press the emergency stop, open the protector, PWE=1, then input the parameters. The input methods are: MDI manual input and DNC transmission.

A. Manual input method: input all parameters according to the attached parameter list

After setting, if NOT Ready appears on the CRT screen, it cannot be transmitted and it must be reset.

2) Input operation:

In the 1MDI mode, execute M51 (DNC ON) to open the parameter screen and press the EOB and INPUT keys simultaneously. The “SKP” (header) flashes in the lower right corner of the CRT.

Then press the "ENTER" key. At this time, "SKP" on the machine CRT will change to "INPUT" flashing, which is the positive input parameter. After the input is completed, execute M50 (DNC OFF), and then knock the person with NO.9m or more function parameters. (Please follow the parameter list)

3 Transfer DGN Parameters Open the DGN screen.

4 If TAPE (paper tape) method, please transfer directly from the TAPE method, the method described above.

3, test machine to verify the accuracy of various functions and machine tools.

1) After the program is input, do not move the machine and perform the M, S, T functions.
2) The parameters: N0.508 = 0 N0.509 = 0 NO.510 = 0 (the X, Y, Z axis origin correction) N0.700, N0.701, N0.702 is set to 99999999 first.
3) Do a three-axis manual home.
4) Input parameters NO.508 NO.509 No.510 (according to the machine parameter table)
5) After power off, send power again, and then do manual zero return (for the bumper, first move the axes to the middle position)
6) Input parameters NO.700 NO.701 NO.702 (according to the machine parameter table)
7) Complete all parameter settings at this time. You can carefully check the various functions, whether it is normal, and check the accuracy of the machine tool.

Fourth, to prevent the "crash" and the importance of backing up machine parameters:

The parameters of CNC machine tools are so important that if they are lost, they will cause a crash, which will seriously affect production. If the manufacturers are invited to deal with a long time, the cost is high and the loss is large. If you can quickly deal with and resume production, you can minimize the loss. How to deal with it in time? Only serious prevention work should be done:

1. The random file is accompanied by the parameter list. It is necessary to pay for the proper storage of the equipment. The machine number must be specified; that is, some key parameters of the machine using a model are different.
2. Users with DNC communication software can input various parameters of each machine to the computer for backup; and indicate that the machine tool number has the parameter type.
3, for the long-term shutdown of the machine should be open 2 or 3 times a week for more than two hours. Strictly follow the requirements and methods of the machine maintenance instructions, replace the batteries, and use high-performance, high-capacity batteries.
4. When M51 is executed, the M30 automatic power-off function cannot be performed. The power supply department should notify in advance before the power outage occurs in areas where power is cut off.
5. When the P/S alarm occurs on the machine tool, full-time maintenance personnel are required to handle it. It is forbidden for non-professional personnel to arbitrarily modify the parameters.

Through the above measures, it is possible to prevent the loss of CNC machine tool parameters. Although this “crash” phenomenon is rare and accidental, it will bring great losses in case of occurrence. Therefore, prevention work must be done well. If you accidentally lose the parameter, please contact the machine manufacturer in time and input the backup parameters to the machine tool in combination with the maintenance instructions to resume operation.
