How It Works:
The valve operates using helical springs that keep the lid closed when the internal pressure remains within the set limits. Three external spring rods maintain the closure of the outer ring-shaped lid until the internal pressure exceeds the spring force. When this happens, the lid lifts, allowing excess pressure to escape. A smaller central lid covers the opening from below, held in place by a single spring rod and pressed against the outer lid by normal air pressure. During suction conditions, the spring compresses, allowing the lid to drop and let air in, restoring pressure balance and returning the lid to the closed position. For use in sensitive environments like the food industry, an ATEX-certified and EC-compliant version is also available.
