How It Works:
The valve uses helical springs to keep the lid closed under normal pressure conditions. Three external spring rods hold the outer ring-shaped lid in place until internal pressure exceeds the set limit. At this point, the lid lifts, allowing excess pressure to escape. A smaller inner lid covers the central opening and is held in place by a single spring rod. Under normal air pressure, it remains sealed. In case of suction, the spring compresses, allowing the lid to drop and air to enter, restoring pressure balance and closing the valve automatically. A version compliant with European Regulation (EC) No. 1935/2004 is also available for food-related applications.
