Application
When a single vacuum pump is not suitable for a specific process due to pumping speed or ultimate vacuum level, the DYK series vacuum pump units combine a roots pump as a booster and a rotary vane pump as a backing pump. The exhaust from the roots pump is connected to the suction side of the backing pump, providing high pumping speed at higher vacuum levels. These units are equipped with air cooling systems, cooling water systems, vacuum valves, ventilation valves, compensators, vacuum gauges, and more. They are highly efficient, reliable, and consume less power. Additionally, they can be designed and mounted on base frames ready for use, or on trailers to meet user requirements. The DYK unit is widely used in vacuum metallurgy, vacuum drying, welding, chemical processing, laboratories, power stations, and other industrial applications, especially for vacuum transformers and other electrical equipment operations.
Features
1. The roots pump automatically starts with the backing pump via an electrical-contact vacuum meter.
2. The powerful rotary vane backing pumps provide the necessary backing pressure, allowing the diffusion pump to achieve its full pumping speed and ultimate vacuum.
