Disadvantages of automatic start-stop system:
1. With the addition of an automatic start-stop system, the number of stalls/starts of vehicles will be much greater than the number of unassembled cars. Therefore, starters and batteries with higher performance are required, which will undoubtedly increase the cost of car maintenance.
2, in terms of lubrication, equipped with automatic start and stop of the car because of the number of start / stop more, the higher the oil quality requirements, it will undoubtedly increase maintenance costs.
Frequent start and stop: Mainly in the case of traffic jams, the car had to idle for a long time. Turning off the traffic during traffic jam was somewhat unrealistic. Investment casting offers high production rates, particularly for small or highly complex components, and extremely good surface finish (CT4-CT6 class accuracy and Ra1.6-6.3 surface roughness) with very little machining. The drawbacks include the specialized equipment, costly refractories and binders, many operations to make a mold, and occasional minute defects.
