In response to market rumors, Xiangyang Bearing announced today that the company is planning to build more than 1,000 acres of the Shaft Industrial Park. The company plans to plan and arrange related technological transformation projects in the construction of the industrial park in order to increase production capacity and strive to achieve sales revenue of RMB 1 billion within three years. The company’s main business revenue last year was nearly 500 million yuan, which means that the company will create a new one in three years.
The company disclosed that the Zongzhou Industrial Park project received strong support from the local government of Xiangfan City. As early as the beginning of this year, when the Sanhuan Group reorganized the Zhanxi Group, the Xiangfan City Government agreed to provide 1,200 acres of land in the Xiangfan Hi-tech Development Zone, and 500 acres of land are reserved around the plot for the development of the Axis Group. It is now clear that the Zhuzhou Group has acquired 1,237 mu of land in this high-tech zone for the construction of the Shaft Industrial Park. Fuyang Bearing will purchase this land from the Axis Group, and the specific price will be the same as the price that the Axis Group obtained when the land was acquired.
It is understood that the company's current plant area (including residential areas) is only 800 acres, and is located in the old city, which has greatly limited the company's future development. After the completion of the new industrial park, some of the old factory production lines will be relocated to the new district and related technological transformation projects will be implemented.
The company also disclosed that in the first half of this year, although the total operating revenue of the company dropped by 23% year-on-year, the export business continued to maintain its high-speed growth in 2008 and achieved a 13% year-on-year growth in the context of the international financial crisis.
