The "Best Management Company" is the first award initiated by Deloitte International, a global consulting and financial auditing group company. The project was first launched in Canada in 1993 and entered the Netherlands in 2007. It also operates in Ireland and Mexico. In 2011, Deloitte's "Best Management Company" project will be launched globally.

The BMM evaluation system also considers some external factors such as industry competition, environmental pressure, and the organization's response to competition and pressure.
