New energy should not be blindly developed

Aiming at the domestic solar and wind energy projects, the “Great Leap Forward” is still underway. While many technical problems have not yet been solved, and the energy consumption of the previous period is huge and the pollution is serious, the Chinese Academy of Engineering academician Ni Weidou called for the development of new energy sources from the whole life cycle on August 9. From the point of view of the whole industry chain, we can analyze how the economy is and where the technology window is. It should not be just the development of blindness.
Academician Ni Weidou told reporters that clean energy such as solar energy and wind power should undoubtedly be vigorously developed. However, how to develop is a big problem, especially in technological development. At present, the model for the development of such repeated projects will cause a great waste of resources from the perspective of the entire life cycle. If new energy cannot be properly planned and developed, it will bring great losses to our country.
Ni Weidou said that domestic wind power projects have now increased dramatically, but the amount of power generated is very small. Although many wind power projects have been built, they are all in the sun. This is mainly because there are many technical problems. The vast majority of them do not have independent intellectual property rights, and they use it. If they use it, they frequently fail and can only stop and open.
According to Ni Weidou, in 2008, domestic 12 million kilowatts of installed capacity of wind power facilities can only generate 121 kwh of electricity; investment of more than 10,000 yuan, annual income of only 500 yuan, is definitely a loss-making earning. He proposed to improve the technology as soon as possible, increase the operating rate of the installed capacity of the unit, and increase the annual power generation time from 1,000 hours to 2000 hours or more to be competitive.
Many people now propose to build a “Three Gorges Wind Power Project”. In response, Ni Weidou academicians continuously questioned: “Who uses this kind of electricity? How does it connect with the grid? What impact will it have on the grid? None of these issues have been carefully studied.” He believes that In the future, the “Three Gorges of Wind Power” may not be able to get on the net.
Regarding the development of the solar energy industry, he believes that solar energy utilization now brings two halos, one is high technology and the other is clean energy. The polysilicon project has moved all over the country and the production capacity has exceeded the total demand in the world. Polysilicon production in the byproducts of silicon tetrachloride brought about a large number of pollution in the country, and the production of 1 ton of polysilicon consumes 250,000 kwh, the power consumption is very large. "From the viewpoint of the whole life cycle, solar energy products must use at least 4 to 6 years to make up for the electricity consumed during the manufacturing process. If efficiency is not high or aging is fast, it is equal to nothing. Such an expensive price, who To pay?” Ni Weidou is very worried about the blind development of polysilicon projects.
