Around 1:58 PM on Wednesday, the Bridgeview Fire Department received an emergency call regarding a dryer fire at the Bridgeview Inn Motel located at 10030 S Harlem Ave in Bridgeview, Illinois, 60455. Engine 425 was the first responder to arrive on the scene. Shortly after, Ambulance 406 accompanied by Engine 405 showed up, followed by Battalion Chief 40. About five minutes later, A426 joined the operation. Mutual aid support was provided by the North Palos and Roberts Park Fire Departments. From North Palos, Battalion Chief 8, Ladder 804, and Ambulance 8R2 arrived to assist. The ambulances were positioned across the street on 100th Place. Roberts Park sent over Engine 3R since their Ladder 31 is currently out of service and they’re operating with a reserve engine. Ambulance A31 and Battalion Chief 3 also responded. When Ladder 804 was set up, the firefighters were informed to stand down and return. These photos were taken by me during the incident.

It’s always reassuring to see how quickly these teams can mobilize when needed. The professionalism displayed by everyone involved was commendable, and I’m grateful for the efforts made to ensure safety in our community.
