Bridgeview Still Alarm 2-6-13

This is from Martin Nowak: Around 1:58 PM on Wednesday, the Bridgeview Fire Department received a call about a dryer fire at the Bridgeview Inn Motel located at 10030 S Harlem Ave in Bridgeview, IL 60455. Engine 425 was the first unit to arrive on the scene. Shortly afterward, Ambulance 406 and Engine 405 showed up, followed by Battalion Chief 40. About five minutes later, A426 arrived. Mutual aid was provided by the North Palos and Roberts Park Fire Departments. From North Palos, we had Battalion Chief 8, Ladder 804, and Ambulance 8R2. The ambulances were parked across the street on 100th Place. Roberts Park sent over Engine 3R, as their Ladder 31 is currently out of service and they're using a reserve engine instead. Both A31 and Battalion Chief 3 were also dispatched. While Ladder 804 was being set up, the crews were informed to stand down. Here are some photos I managed to snap during the incident. [Attached Photo: North Palos Fire Protection District truck] [Attached Photo: Fire department ambulances staged across the street] [Attached Photo: Bridgeview fire response efforts] [Attached Photo: Bridgeview Fire Department engine] It was quite an eventful day, and thankfully, everything seemed under control relatively quickly. These images give you a glimpse into what it looked like when the firefighters first arrived.
