He temporarily stayed at the top of the list. Chery and Geely ranked first, rising from eighth and tenth place in the previous year to seventh and ninth respectively.

The top ten companies in China in the first quarter were: SAIC, FAW, Dongfeng, Chang'an, BAIC, Hafei, Chery, GAC, Geely and Jianghuai. They sold 31.1 million units, 260,700 units, 212,900 units, and 208,200 units respectively. The five companies sold a total of 482,200 vehicles in March, which accounted for 66.87% of the total domestic automobile sales.
