Working principle of SZ type water ring vacuum pump

The SZ water ring vacuum pump is shown in Fig. 1. The impeller 1 is eccentrically mounted in the pump body 2, and a certain height of water is injected into the pump during starting, so when the blade wheel rotates, the water is subjected to centrifugal force on the pump body wall. Forming and rotating the water ring 3, the upper inner surface of the water ring is tangent to the hub and rotates along the main direction of the arrow. During the first half turn, the inner surface of the water ring is gradually separated from the hub, and the SZ water ring vacuum pump is thus between the impeller blades. Forming space and gradually expanding, so that air is sucked in the suction port; during the second half turn, the inner surface of the water ring gradually approaches the hub, and the space volume between the blades decreases, and the air between the blades is compressed. discharge. When the impeller rotates once a week, the volume of space between the blades changes once, and the water between each blade reciprocates as if it were a piston. The SZ water ring vacuum pump continuously draws gas. Since water will heat up during work and some of the water will be drained together with the gas, the SZ water ring vacuum pump must be constantly supplied with cold water to cool and replenish the water consumed in the pump during operation. The supplied cold water is preferably 15 °C.

      When the gas discharged from the SZ water ring vacuum pump is exhaust gas, a water tank is connected to one end of the exhaust gas, and after the exhaust gas and a part of the water discharged into the water tank, the gas runs away from the outlet pipe of the water tank, and the water falls into the water tank. The bottom is returned to the pump through the return pipe. If the cycle time is long, it will heat up.
