First, daily inspection is essential
1. The liquid level of the battery: When the liquid level is lower than the rated liquid level, the service life of the battery will be shortened, but if the electrolyte is too small, the battery will be damaged due to heat generation. Therefore, it must be noted whether the electrolyte is sufficient.
2. Terminals, wires, and covers of the battery: It must be checked frequently that the connection between the junction of the battery terminal and the wire is oxidized and the corrosion is checked. At the same time, check whether the cover is deformed and there is no heating.
3, Appearance: Dirty battery surface will cause leakage, should make the battery surface clean and dry at any time.
Second, maintenance
1. Add water: Add distilled water according to the specified liquid level. Do not add too much distilled water in order to prolong the interval between water additions. Adding too much electrolyte will overflow the electrolyte.
2. Charging: The battery will generate gas during the charging process. Keep the charging place well-ventilated and there is no open flame around. At the same time, the oxygen and acid gases generated during the charging process will affect the surrounding area. Unplugging the charging plug during charging will generate an electric arc and the charger can only be unplugged after it has been switched off. After charging, a lot of hydrogen is trapped around the battery. No open flame is allowed. Turn on the battery cover to charge it.
3. Maintenance of terminal, wire, and cover: This must be done by a professional technician appointed by the manufacturer.
4. Cleaning: If it is not dirty, wipe it off with a damp cloth. If it is very dirty, remove the battery from the car and clean it with water to make it dry naturally.
Third, custody
1. Storage location: Do not short circuit it; it may cause fire due to short circuit caused by rain, and may generate a small amount of hydrogen. Therefore, the battery must be stored in a ventilated, cool place.
2. Used batteries: Used batteries still have electric energy, and they should be stored according to the storage methods used.
Fourth, the operation of the electrolyte
1. Check the specific gravity: Use an inhaled hydrometer to check the specific gravity. Do not allow the electrolyte to splash out during operation and wear protective equipment.
2. Operations other than inspection: Consult a professional, especially when supplementing the electrolyte (dilute sulfuric acid).

Fifth, the end of life battery operation
1. Operation of the battery at the end of its life: When the battery is near the end of its life, the electrolyte in the cell is reduced very quickly and distilled water should be added daily.
2. Disposal of Used Batteries: For used batteries, draw out the electrolyte and decompose the batteries. Can be negotiated whether it is recycled by the battery manufacturer.
Sixth, emergency treatment
1, the electrolyte splashed on the skin: rinse with plenty of water
2. Electrolyte splashed into eyes: Rinse with plenty of water and then treat with a professional doctor
3. Spilled electrolyte into clothes: Immediately remove clothes, rinse with water and then rinse with weak alkaline soap.
4. Electrolyte leakage: When the electrolyte is leaked to the outside, immediately neutralize with lime, strong soda carbonate, or soda carbonate, and rinse with plenty of water.
