Russian Oil Pipeline Takes Tyna Line Oil Battle for China's First Winning Japan

China won Japan first in the competition for oil pipelines in Russia. The Russian Energy Industry Minister Khristenko announced that Russia's Far East oil pipeline has completed the first phase of the Tyna Line project in 2008 and will transport 30 million tons of crude oil to China each year.

The entire Tyne line is from Tasbet, Siberia, Russia to Nakhodka, near the northeast of China. The first phase of the project is from Tenda to Skovorodino. The follow-up project is to Nakhodka, which mainly transports crude oil from major Russian oil fields to the Far East. The region exports to China, Japan, South Korea and other countries.

The first phase of the Tyna Line project actually transported the crude oil produced in Russia’s Siberian region to the Skobrodino that was only 60 kilometers away from the Chinese border, and then supplied oil to China by sub-line of the railway or oil pipeline.

Khristenko stated that the design of the Far East oil pipeline will be completed in July this year. He believes that the Far East oil pipeline will be fully connected within a predetermined time.

Russia’s Far East oil pipeline has always been a high-profile issue, especially whether Russia will build Angarsk from Angarsk to Daqing in China, or Angarsk from Angarsk to Nakhodka port, involving energy contention between China and Japan. war. After repeated ups and downs, China finally preempted Japan and became the chief customer of Russia's Far East oil pipeline.
