Carbon dioxide detector design principle analysis

The application of carbon dioxide gas fertilizer in greenhouses can increase the photosynthesis efficiency of crops, and have a significant effect on improving crop quality and increasing yield. Because different crops have different requirements for carbon dioxide concentration, it is extremely urgent and important to detect carbon dioxide concentration in the greenhouse economically and rationally. At present, the instruments used to detect carbon dioxide in industry and the environment are relatively expensive, and the economic conditions of the majority of farmers are still unsustainable. The following is a preliminary design of the carbon dioxide detector in the solar greenhouse with the objective of economy and practicality.

In general, input devices, intermediate conversion devices, and output devices are the three basic components of a test system. The key part of the input device is the sensor. The intermediate conversion device is very different depending on the situation. In a simple test system, it may be completely ignored and the sensor output is directly displayed or recorded. In this design, the measurement accuracy is not very high. In order to reduce the cost, only simple debugging circuits are used.

The CO2 detector CO2 detection module senses a different CO2 concentration and generates a 0 to 4 volt change voltage signal, which is transmitted to the input of the ICL7107 via the W1 voltage divider for A/D conversion and display. The ICL7660 provides the ICL7107 with a -5 volt operating voltage. In this design, the thousands of display ICL7107 circuit 19 feet do not use air, only with one, ten, one hundred display, while the single-digit LED digital tube a, b, c, d, e, f foot and 50-ohm resistance Connected to the circuit, only 0 bits are displayed in the digital tube position during operation. Due to the requirement of accuracy of 50×10-6 in the greenhouse, the tens digit of this circuit has been shown to be valid.

Carbon dioxide detector can be widely used in the detection and control of carbon dioxide gas in solar greenhouses. It has the characteristics of low cost and reliable performance. It is an ideal detection instrument for agricultural research institutes and farmers.
