On May 8, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology released the fourth batch of new energy vehicle models exempted from vehicle purchase tax. A total of 28 new energy passenger vehicles were selected. Among them, there are 26 passenger cars for pure electric vehicles and 2 passenger cars for plug-in hybrids.
From the list of passenger cars announced this time, we can see that there are BAIC EV200, BYD e6, BYD e5, Southeast V5 Lingzhi, Brilliance China H220, China H230 and Pentium EV in pure electric vehicles. Among the plug-in hybrid models, there are BYD Tang and the domestic Volvo S60L.
The number of models announced this time has increased compared with the 17 models in the third batch. At this point, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology announced that the exemption of purchase tax, a total of 83 pure electric vehicles and 13 plug-in hybrid vehicles were selected for exemption from the purchase tax list, are domestic models.
