Method of trapping and killing gypsy moth using frequency vibration type insecticidal lamp

The Yichun City Friendship Forestry Bureau is located in the mid-range of the Xiaoxing'an Mountains and is one of the important state-owned forest areas. It is also an important ecological function area in the country. Due to the long-term development and construction, the forest community structure was destroyed, the self-regulation ability of the forest was reduced, forest pests and diseases occurred from time to time, and huge economic losses were caused to forestry construction. In recent years, gypsy moths have occurred in large numbers in the forest area, causing serious damage to forestry production.
We have achieved remarkable results in forecasting and controlling gypsy moths using frequency-vibrancy insecticidal lamps.
1 Materials and Methods 1. 1 The test materials used frequency-vibration light-controlled rain pest insect traps. The lamp is characterized by the use of strong phototaxis, wave-like, color-rendering, and tropism information, and the light waves are set within a specific range. Using light at a short distance and using waves at a long distance, the sex information generated by the pest itself is used to seduce adult insects. The lamp is accompanied by a special high-voltage power grid contact, so that the insects fall into the special insect bag under the lamp to achieve the purpose of killing pests. It chooses to avoid the trapping of natural enemies in the wavelength and band, to achieve the protection of natural enemies.
It is an ideal tool for controlling pests with high efficiency and no environmental pollution.
1. 2 Test methods Lights are set in the main pest occurrence areas in the region, from the beginning of the emergence of pests in early July to the end of the emergence of pests in early August. Lights are continuously turned on for 30 days from 7 pm to 6 am the next day. After the lights were turned on, statistics were collected on the number of pests and the percentage of males and females. Hanging lamp height from the ground 1. 5m. At the larval stage before the test, the density of insect population at each test site was investigated, and the population density of the larvae at the next generation was investigated after trapping, and the control effect was analyzed.
2 Results and analysis 2.1. Traps were monitored in the Eastern and Western Ditch systems of the friendly forestry bureau, four forest farms in the north and south. Set up a monitoring point separately. Each station was equipped with a frequency-vibration lamp for trapping (see Table 1 for results). From Table 1, it can be seen that there are significant insect trapping effects at four sites at different locations.

2. 2 Prevention and control effects The frequency-vibration booby trap adopts a frequency-vibration high-voltage power grid, which can kill the adult moths of the gypsy moth and can play a role in the control and control of insect pests. As can be seen from Table 2, the average density of insects before the investigation was 80.75 heads/strain, the average population density was 8 heads/strain, and the average insect mouth density was 72.75 heads/strain. The average control effect was 89. . 8%. As a result, the frequency-vibrancy insecticidal lamp has a significant control effect.

2. 3 Effect of measurement during the occurrence period The map data and the table analysis were performed on the recorded data. It can be seen from Table 3 and Fig. 1 that the emergence period of the gypsy moth is in late July, that is, the peak period of the adult of the pest. Due to the strong flying ability of male moths, more females are trapped than female moths. The proportion of females and males and the number of eggs carried by the dissected female moth were determined. Based on the time period measurement method, the occurrence peak of the pest of the next generation can be estimated. Provide reliable basis for timely control.

3 CONCLUSIONS AND DISCUSSIONS 3. 1 Conclusion The frequency-vibrancy insecticidal lamp is simple in operation, low in cost and low in input, and can effectively reduce labor intensity. And safe to use, reliable performance, no environmental pollution. It is conducive to protecting the environment, protecting natural enemies and maintaining ecological balance. It can be used for monitoring and forecasting as well as for prevention and control, with significant results. The use of frequency-vibration insecticidal lamps for the monitoring and control of gypsy moth has significant economic, ecological and social benefits, and is a practical technology with broad application prospects.
3.2 Discussion. Among the trapped adults, males have a greater ability to fly and the number of male moths is larger. Female moths that are not trapped can continue to spawn. Some of the female moths that have been trapped have been dissected and found that some of the female moths have spawned or partially spawned. If the female adults have copulated before they are trapped, then the trapping and killing will lose their significance. At the same time, they are intensive in prevention and control practices. In the forest, the trapping range is limited.
