Since April, the municipal environmental protection department has informed the district and county governments, the Development Zone Management Committee and the Xi'an District of Police about the improvement rate of the coal-fired boilers, and sent them to the leaders of the municipal government. The municipal affairs center opened a green corridor and set up a special window to ensure the efficient handling of the relevant examination and approval procedures and to fully complete 80% of the first half of the target task.
The city will continue to urge the removal of coal-fired boilers as soon as possible to implement the demolition as soon as possible, while solving the problems in the construction of supporting heating gas pipelines to ensure that residents' heating in winter is not affected.
