Since the embedded part can be directly replaced using a fastening dowel, the risk of losing small dowels is minimized. The insert material offers excellent resistance to defects and wear. It uses the new "AH730" material for machining carbon steel and alloy steel, while a fine-grained hard base material with superior chipping resistance is used for aluminum alloy processing. The DLC coating process "DS1200" further enhances performance. The EPH series includes four blade models with diameters ranging from 10 to 16 mm, and 30 different tool head options. In terms of pricing, a 2-blade model "EPH11R010M10.0-2" with a 10 mm diameter costs 24,465,600 yen (including tax), while a 3-blade model "EPH18R016M16.0-3" with a 16 mm diameter is priced at 3,420 yen (tax included). For the tool tip, the "AH730 XHGR110202ER-MJ" with a 10 mm diameter and an R (arc radius) of 0.2 is available for 1,470 yen (tax included).
