Mayor: There is indeed a limit

It is understood that the office building has been put into use for more than one year. However, the Minggang town government has not been able to clearly answer such questions as the total investment amount and the related procedures, and it has not been able to obtain a land use permit for this site, and it has not provided new information. The reporter learned that this building had already started construction before the approval, and later it was once a “uncompleted building” because of funding.

According to the construction approval documents of Xinyang City Development and Reform Commission in 2008, the office building “The total investment of the project is controlled within 9.6 million yuan and the source of funds is self-raising”. Mayor Liu just told reporters that the project had been completed before his arrival and that the current total investment had not yet been finalized. As of January 2012, a total of 7.8 million yuan was temporarily paid to the decoration company, and 5.9 million yuan was temporarily paid to the construction company, all of which were financial expenses.

Less than the number of resident

It is reported that after receiving reports from local people in June this year, Xinyang City set up a joint investigation team led by the Municipal Commission for Discipline Inspection to settle in Minggang Town. The principal person in charge of the Xinyang City Commission for Discipline Inspection said that the problem of the office building in the town is only one of the problems reported by the people, and the investigation is still under way.

Liu Guangjin told reporters that at present, there are a total of 302 staff in the township and secondary institutions that have already entered the building. In addition, the total number of people who reported to the town was 669. The original building area of ​​6,464 square meters of new office building was calculated based on this number of people. Why can there be as many as 669 staff in a township? After the expansion of 1,500 square meters, why only 302 people settled in office? Liu Guangjin said that he was not clear about the previous situation.

According to the person in charge of the Xinyang City Commission for Discipline Inspection, the investigation team can produce results this week, and it will be announced to the public at that time.
